National Geographic Film Uncovers the Secret History of Grills

For more than two decades, icing out your teeth has been a mark of success synonymous with rappers and rap culture. However, what many people don’t know is that this tradition goes back way further than the birth of hip-hop, all the way back to the ancient Mayans, in fact. National Geographic has put together a little film uncovering the truth behind the grill, featuring cameos from Ashanti, Paul Wall and the Grill Master himself, Johnny Dang.
