ALYX founder and creative director Matthew Williams is no stranger to purveying military-inspired garbs with unconventional trappings. The former Kanye West and Lady Gaga collaborator has now unveiled his 2017 fall ready-to-wear collection, dubbed “Aggressive Elegance.” In fact, the striking assemblage culls references to the world of S&M, more specifically “the underground fetish scenes of Berlin,” Vogue reports. Standout pieces include the oversized down jacket with a detachable front pouch, buckled shearling jackets and metallic silver dresses with cinched waists via leather ring belts.
