A Look Inside TAKAHIROMIYASHITA the SoloIst. x SKOLOCT Pop-Up at Hirshleifers
Offering a number of remakes and collaborative items.
Takahiro Miyashita recently joined forces with Japanese artist SKOLOCT for the latest collaborative project under his SoloIst label. The pop-up shop at Hirshleifers featured a limited time shop-in-shop that offered a number of remakes alongside collaborative items. Additionally, Takahiro and SKOLOCT made appearances at the space for an exclusive meet and greet. In a recent interview at the event, Takahiro reveals just how deeply David Bowie’s death affected him, noting he needed to change himself like how Bowie became Ziggy Stardust. SKOLOCT acted as the facilitator for his change, which was why Takahiro brought the artist on for his 2017 spring/summer collection, “The SKOLOCT.” Check out photos from the recent Hirshleifers above and head over to Grailed for full coverage of the event.
