Numbers & Nike SB Channel Schoolyard Prep for Their Second Collab
“This collection falls right in line with what we were wearing in the early ‘90s.”

For their second collaboration, Eric Koston and Guy Mariano‘s Numbers and Nike SB are following up their special edition of the Koston 3 Hyperfeel — not to mention the new endeavor’s first-ever skate vid — with a trip down memory lane. Channeling both Mariano and Koston’s early-’90s looks (and the influence they subsequently had on an entire generation of skaters), the new co-branded drop takes cues from schoolyard prep and includes a striped polo and jacket alongside a take on the Blazer Low AC.
“We got addicted to striped polos in the early ‘90s,” recalls Mariano. “We were influenced by a lot of hip hop of that time.” As for the Blazer — which sports subtle “Numbers edition” notes beneath its trio of Velcro straps — Mariano adds, “You don’t get the ripped laces. And having those three straps gives a nice secure, lock-down fit for skating.”
Crafted in both burgundy and crisp white, the Blazer Low AC is set to hit select Nike SB spots and nike.com on April 6 while the polos and jackets will follow on April 15.
