Medicom Toy Drops Tribute T-Shirt Series for Iconic Japanese Punk Band THE MODS
Reviving the band’s ’80s cult following.
After honoring Japanese musician Kiyoshiro Imawano, Medicom Toy is back with another tribute Amplifier T-shirt series, this time paying tribute to THE MODS, one of Japan’s first iconic punk rock bands from the ’80s. The collection features black and white T-shirts emblazoned with portrait photographs of its members — lead singer Tatsuya Moriyama, guitarist Hiroyuki Chisaki and bassist Koichi Kitazato — live on stage. The collection is available from April 1 to April 15 at Medicom Toy’s official web store. Each T-shirt is priced at ¥6,296 JPY (approximately $56 USD).
