'Game of Thrones' Season 7 May Return in July, New Promo Released
Featuring the Oathkeeper.

A new HBO “In Production Now” promo was aired during one of the network’s promotional segments. The brief clip for Game of Thrones shows a mysterious hand holding the Oathkeeper — the sword Jamie gifted Brienne of Tarth when she went on her mission to save Sansa Stark. The Oathkeeper is only one of two Valyrian steel swords forged from Ned Stark’s greatsword, Ice, and one of just a handful of Valyrian steel swords left in Westeros. After monitoring various HBO channels, Watchers on the Wall have confirmed the video is real. Looks like an official trailer should be on its way soon.
Also recently actor Liam Cunningham who plays Davos Seaworth, sat down with The Independent to tease the show may come back in July. Cunningham stated, “I’ve been disappointing various people around the world because it was meant to come out in April. It’s July now, I think.” He also went on to state production for Season 8 will begin in September of this year. “There’s going to be a launch and something special happening this year for the premiere. The bad news is, there will only be seven episodes and the final season starts again as far as I know in September,” he said.
