Saint Laurent & colette Reconcile Their Differences After Three Years
The “Ain’t Laurent Without Yves” debacle is over.

Earlier this week, two windows displays dedicated to French fashion house Saint Laurent appeared at the colette retail location in Paris. The appearance of the displays signaled that Saint Laurent and colette have reconciled their differences after the “Ain’t Laurent Without Yves” debacle. Back in 2013 former Saint Laurent creative director, Hedi Slimane was outraged that colette carried parody T-shirts emblazoned with the phrase “Ain’t Laurent Without Yves.” The outrage was enough for Saint Laurent to end its relationship with the Paris retailer up until this week. colette’s creative director, purchasing manager and the daughter of store founder Colette Rousseau, Sarah Andelman stated that since Anthony Vaccarello was named creative director of the brand last year the relationship between the two parties has improved immensely. Check out the window displays posted Anthony Vaccarello’s Instagram below and let us know what you think about the reconciliation.
