Official Images of the Nike PG1 "Ferocity" Have Surfaced With a Few Fun Facts
Reflecting Paul George’s growth, style and family.

The news of the Nike PG1 is a thing of the past and fans of PG-13 are ready to add Paul George’s first signature silhouette to their personal collections. In January we received news that George would finally be getting a signature shoe with Nike and a tease of its leading colorway also surfaced. Now a few weeks before the arrival of the Nike PG1 “Ferocity,” the Swoosh has opened the doors to its details which relate to George’s road to recovery after a gruesome injury, the relationship he has with his family, and much more.
Designed by Tony Hardman, the Nike PG1 gains its structural inspiration from the Nike Crusader, a silhouette George favored before the development of his first signature shoe. In addition, George’s love for fishing is incorporated via its traction pattern which mirrors fish scales. The love for his family is incorporated via his daughter’s birthday on the medial side of the left shoe and complemented by his own on the medial side of the right shoe. You’ll also find a hint of purple on subtle locations such as the heel tab as a nod to his mother, Paulette, mixed in with its Indiana Pacers-inspired colorway. Highlighting his personal taste and style, the number 13 is found on each heel with a special bowtie-inspired PG logo on each tongue.
The Nike PG1 “Ferocity” is set to release on March 4 for $110 USD at select Nike Basketball retailers and online. You can find out additional details of the model here as well as take a glance at the Nike PG1 “Shining” colorway.
