"Lemonade" Director Khalil Joseph Releases New KENZO Film

KENZO has finally released its film for its 2017 spring/summer collection, Directed by Khalil Joseph (who also helmed Beyoncé’s GRAMMY Award-winning Lemonade) the piece is called “Music Is My Mistress” and features an impressive cast including Tracee Ellis Ross, Jesse Williams and Kelsey Lu. Celebrating people of color, the film includes quotes from Senegalese film director Djibril Diop Mambéty, and is a statement on the political climate of today. The film ends with the poignant thought, “One must have the mad belief that anything is possible – you have to be mad to the point of being irresponsible.” Check out the film above and click here to see KENZO’s last short film.
