Watch as This Football Player Saves Opponent From Choking to Death
And it’s not the first time he’s done it.
Francis Kone, a striker for Slovacko of the Czech First League, saved his opponent’s life during a match against Bohemians. During the fixture, Bohemians goalkeeper Martin Berkovec was involved in a bad collision with Slovacko’s Daniel Krch. Falling to the ground unable to breathe, Kone quickly saved the goalkeeper’s life right there on the pitch. Instantly knowing what was wrong, Kone put his hand in Borkovec’s mouth to stop him from choking on his tongue.
In an interview following the incident, Kone told reporters, “It wasn’t the first time I have done that. It’s something like the fourth time. Twice in Africa, once in Thailand.” Berkovec also took to his Facebook to state his thanks, “I would like to thank Kone Francis for rescue and emergency at today’s game … I’m glad for the relief and thanks again!!!” Check out the incident above.
