Unfamiliar Landscapes and Workwear in Carhartt WIP's 2017 Spring/Summer Capsule Collection Lookbook
Featuring Tiger Camo and 90’s American Sport.
For its 2017 collection, Carhartt WIP takes its classic WIP, Carhartt Athletics and CA Squad pieces to the outer edges of the city where stylings reflect the settings in a diversity of shapes, textures and colors. Carhartt WIP pays tribute to its home, Detroit, taking inspiration from the city’s baseball team, the Detroit Tigers. Pieces showcase tiger patterns and a new take on team’s logo from the ’90s. These premium essentials are constructed with sporty jersey cotton and feature embroidered C-LOGO detailing on the chest.
Carhartt WIP’s go-to and classic camouflage, “TIGER CAMO” makes an appearance this season as well, as part of Carhartt WIP’s Military theme. “CA SQUAD”, a symbol of Carhartt’s “C” and traditional military training uniforms “A” (Army), as well as the “SEARCH AND DESTROY” military slogans can be seen throughout the collection. Keeping with the theme of war, seasonal exclusives like the Tiger Souvenir Jacket with traditional Japanese embroidery pays tribute to the history of World War II.
Check out the photos above and video below for a full look at the collection, everything drops at selected Carhartt WIP stockists around Asia and Europe in February. Keep an eye online for more details.
