The RERACS Play With Silhouette Shapes for Spring/Summer 2018
Subtle reworks to classic staples.
THE RERACS have long been acknowledged for taking quintessential classics and subtly reinterpreting them, be it through silhouette applications and/or accessory modifications. The Japanese brand’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection embodies this approach masterfully, as an assortment of reworked staple pieces take to the forefront.
The lineup sticks primarily to a black, navy and white color palette with lightweight outerwear, boxy blazers, button-down shirts and v-neck pullovers, amongst a host of others, well represented. Designer Naomi Kurahashi played with relaxed shapes, as trousers and tops hang freely from the body. A standout look sees a houndstooth-printed overcoat team with an all-black shirt/trouser combo.
