Sean Suen Combines Dreamlike Colors with Contemporary Twists
Try a little tenderness for Spring/Summer 2018.
Having debuted at Paris Fashion Week Men’s earlier this year, the full lookbook for Sean Suen‘s Spring/Summer 2018 collection has now been revealed. Set primarily in a deserted beach environment, the photographs showcase the complexities and contrasts of the collection, alternating between a kind of desolate bleakness and sense of pure wanderlust.
Affectionately dubbed “Tender,” the collection hinges on pastel blues, dusty pinks and pearlescent whites — all of which are given a fresh edge through unusual details — with contemporary oversized silhouettes, bold collars and stand-out patterning working to counteract the softer coloration.
As yet there’s no official release date for the collection — though the Sean Suen website hints at something coming soon — but, if contemporary twists on classic ideas have piqued your interest, check out the latest drop from Helmut Lang and Shayne Oliver.
