HBO's 'Watchmen' TV Show to Begin Filming in March

It appears HBO and Damon Lindelof have reached a deal to adapt DC Comic’s critically acclaimed graphic novel Watchmen as a TV series. It is speculated the production will begin next year in March, with Lost and The Leftovers showrunner Lindelof helming the project.
Zack Snyder had his hand in adapting the source material with his 2009 film, which received mixed reviews. In 2014, HBO also tried to strike a deal with Snyder to get the TV series started, but it eventually fell apart. Watchmen by Alan Moore, create in 1986 tells the tale of American superheroes in a world where the U.S. won the Vietnam War, Nixon is still president, and the Cold War is in full effect.
