ASICSTIGER teams up with W.L. Gore & Associate, the makers of GORE-TEX® fabric, to release the latest iteration of the versatile GEL-MAI sneaker. The GEL-MAI G-TX collection is covered in the GORE-TEX® mesh fabric, which makes it wind-proof and water resistant to brave the elements. Its unique aesthetic and asymmetrical design give the silhouette a rugged appearance that’s perfect for the season at hand. Offered in two colorways (peacoat/black and aluminum/birch), the sneaker also features a speckled midsole and accents of fluorescent color that are right at home on both outdoor terrain and city asphalt. “The GEL-MAI G-TX is an exciting reinvention of one of our most innovative silhouettes. Partnering with the GORE-TEX® brand allowed us to push the boundaries and create an all-weather shoe that still has street-lifestyle appeal that ASICSTIGER is known for,” said Colin Brickley of ASICSTIGER.

Check out the images below of the ASICSTIGER launch at the recently opened ASICSTIGER SoHo shop in NYC and then head over to ASICSTIGER’S online shop to purchase the GEL-MAI G-TX for $160 USD.
