The adidas AlphaBounce Zip Gets a Collegiate Burgundy Wrap Release
For those runs in the winter snow.
Following up on the “Grey” and “Triple White” iterations of the AlphaBOUNCE Zip, adidas has dropped a new “Collegiate Burgundy” colorway of the winter-prepped silhouette. Primarily designed for winter running, adidas debuted the AlphaBOUNCE Zip back in September and has been cranking out the colorways in time for the holiday season.
The mid-cut model is constructed from a number of materials and fabrics to help best protect against the cold and wet conditions of the coming winter months. The mid-foot and toe of the rugged upper material comes wrapped in light grey and embossed with the signature hexagonal pattern, while the extended collar, zip collar, and heel guard are hit with burgundy. The heavily tractioned sole, that also incorporates BOUNCE cushioning, appears in grey with golden speckles. The latest edition of this comfortable and functional silhouette arrives at select adidas stores and online today and you can pick up a pair for $120 USD.
