A BTS Look at the Real Life Locations of 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'
Mark them for your next vacation.
Ever wonder where Star Wars shoots its otherworldly scenes? The franchise is known to scout exotic locations to create its numerous planets. For instance, Lake Como in Northern Italy served as Varykino, the Naboo lake country where Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala escape to in Attack of the Clones.
Like its predecessors, The Last Jedi filmed in several surreal places. In this featurette, Lucasfilm shows us the real-world destinations for Canto Bight, Crait and Ahch-To, which include Croatia, Bolivia and Skellig Michael in Ireland, respectively.
Watch the clip above and keep your eyes peeled for these spots in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, opening in theaters on December 15.
