Watch Two Wingsuit Flyers BASE Jump Into a Plane Mid-Air
“A Door in the Sky.”
Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet of the aerial sports collective Soul Flyers premiered their latest stunt on YouTube yesterday afternoon. Taking to Red Bull‘s channel, the two successfully base jumped from the top of the Jungfrau mountain in Switzerland, then wingsuited through the side door of a moving plane, a world first.
The crew spent several months training for this project — aptly named “A Door in the Sky” — by completing more than 100 test flights in Spain. This isn’t their first world record however, as Vince and Fred base jumped from the world’s tallest building back in 2014.
