A new trailer for The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story has been released. Based on a book by Maureen Orth, the trailer below showcases the real-life events leading up to the legendary fashion designer’s death, including the murder of Lee Miglin in Chicago and the arrival of his killer Andrew Cunanan in Los Angeles.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, the second installment of the acclaimed, award-winning limited series, is set to premiere on FX on January 17 and early for FX+ subscribers January 12, five days before its official release.
