Nike SB profiles its latest signee, Lacey Baker, in a new clip shot on the streets of New York. Featuring Sarah Meurle, Brian Anderson and other pros, the video offers a look at the young skater’s motivation and skill. Growing up in California, Baker knew she wanted to be a pro skater before she turned 10. After taking home awards in the X-Games and other competitions, the up-and-coming talent relocated to New York and signed with Nike SB. One of the first queer women to work with the brand, Baker brings a sense of West Coast adroitness to the sport, pulling off kickflips and grinding rails with ease.
Check out Baker’s promo spot above. Next week, Nike SB retros the Dunk High Pro 92.
