The adidas Superstar Receives a Hiking-Inspired Makeover

adidas recently gave its Superstar ’80s footwear model a rugged hiking-inspired makeover. Drawing from the durable and aggressive look of trail ready boots, the reworked version of the iconic lifestyle model features a tough olive color upper accented by an off white toe cap and bright red heel accent. But the highlight element of the sneaker has to be the exaggerated chunky rubber midsole toothy traction outsole designed to help wearers navigate rough trails. Retailing at €120 EUR (approximately $140 USD), the adidas Superstar ’80s TR is now available at retailers like 43einhalb.
