adidas Consortium and Kasina Link Up for Artisanal Superstar BOOST Collab
The Korean store marks its 20th anniversary.

After releasing a joint Superstar 80 with adidas Originals last year, Kasina has returned to a new version of the sneaker for its latest collaboration. This time working with adidas Consortium on a Superstar BOOST, the Korean streetwear store has celebrated its 20th anniversary and taken inspiration from the country’s artisanal heritage.
The sneaker comes with a BOOST midsole, and a bone white nubuck upper that is heavily influenced by Taesahae, a type of traditional footwear built by craftsmen for Korean nobleman. Other features include exposed stitching, a leather shell toe and the 3-Stripe logo in tonal stitching. The store’s 20th anniversary is also referenced with “1997” — the year it was founded — embroidered on the outer side of the sneaker.
The adidas Consortium x Kasina Superstar BOOST is set to drop from select retailers on 21 October 21. Refresh your memory of the last time the two brands worked together, with Kasina hosting an adidas pop-up concept store back in January.
