President Barack Obama Gives Us a Virtual Reality Tour of The White House

On January 20, current president Barack Obama will step down to make way for Donald Trump. But before leaving, he and First Lady Michelle Obama recored a virtual reality tour of The White House. Shot by VR film studio Felix & Paul, the tour went online for Oculus VR headsets and Facebook 360-degree video.

In the clip, viewers are given a tour of the space narrated by Obama himself, stating, “This house belongs to you, and to every American. For eight years, just a short chapter in the long story of our democracy, my family also had the privilege of calling The White House home.” The eight-minute clip is part of a longer version of the film, which will be released in virtual reality later this year.
