Moschino's 2017 Fall/Winter Collection Is Military-Inspired
“My country is in the toilet. And when my country is in the toilet, the world is in the toilet.”
Jeremy Scott’s 2017 fall/winter Moschino collection was inspired by the “global situation” he sees — with Trump as President-Elect. He said, “My country is in the toilet. And when my country is in the toilet, the world is in the toilet. We have to fight for everything we believe in. That’s the expression I wanted to use.”
This collection was a departure for Scott, who’s known for his kitschy and bright creations. This time around, the collection was mostly monochromatic with a few colorful pieces we have come to love from Scott. Imagery included explosions and countdown clocks.
