Nike Removes the Cage From the Air Presto
A first look at the Air Presto Fly.

Nike removed the Air Presto’s signature molded cage and replaced it with an elastic midfoot strap to create last year’s Air Presto Extreme, but now it’s ditching the overlays entirely for its latest Presto-inspired creation. Dubbed the Air Presto Fly, the upcoming silhouette keeps the old 2000 look mostly intact, but ditches both the cage of the original and the elastic strap of the lacing-free Extreme in favor of Dynamic Flywire support. A modified external heel counter has also been added to the package while the midsole’s usual Swoosh branding has been cast aside in favor of a larger logo on the upper.
Stay tuned for an official introduction from Nike and expect the Air Presto Fly to land at NSW retailers later this spring.
