M.A.D.Gallery Launches a Retro Robot Exhibition in GenevaHervé Stadelmann looks to the past for his mechanical models.
Following up on last year’s Viva la Robolución exhibition, M.A.D.Gallery — the artistic wing of Geneva-based horologists MB&F — is now exhibiting a retro-tinged collection of robot sculptures that are all available to buy. With nods to samurai outfits and the uniforms of cult shows such as Battlestar Galactica, Hervé Stadelmann has designed 16 robots that stand a little over 2 feet tall to precision watchmaking standards; with the creative process for each requiring ~22 square feet of sheet metal and 80 hours.
The 16 robots on display are available for 2,450 CHF ($2,450 USD) each. For more information visit the M.A.D.Gallery website here.
