Ludacris Gets Into the Mobile Game Market With 'Slang N' Friendz'
Based off the popular game ‘Words With Friends.’

Actor and rapper Ludacris is getting into the gaming app market with Slang N’ Friendz, a game based off of the popular Words With Friends game. Luda has teamed up with filmmaker and startup founder Edwin Benton to create the game, which is a mix between Words With Friends and Scrabble. Players get bonus points for using slang words in the game, and if the app doesn’t recognize your slang word you can suggest for it to be included with your own definition and region of origin.
“I feel like pop culture dictates what is considered as cool in this world,” Ludacris told TechCrunch. “And I think bringing people together and not limiting them to what everyone feels the dictionary is in terms of the English language, brings people closer together. It’s a cool element to it.”
