Adding to the thrill of new year collaborations, COMME des GARÇONS has teamed up with Nike for a “Clear” Dunk High sneaker that has just dropped in Japan. First revealed at the CDG men’s show at Paris Fashion Week last summer, the special edition sneaker features the classic Dunk High silhouette in a black and white leather upper with transparent PVC panels on the sides and vamp. Classic Swoosh branding appears in its usual places on the side and on the tongue, whereas “CDG” lettering is placed on the heel counter. The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Dunk High “Clear” has already released in Japan, according to an Instagram photo. In a recent interview with The New York Times, rapper Lil Yachty was donning the special edition shoe and revealed that it would cost $320 USD. Stay tuned for more information about the official U.S. release date.
