A Closer Look at FACETASM's 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
Hiromichi Ochiai’s latest garment offerings.
Although FACETASM was already an established name in its home of Japan, the brand was displayed to a larger audience last year with its debut show in Paris. Exhibiting delicate tailoring in a range of jackets, suit tunics, trousers and shirts, as well as enlivening simple pieces by virtue of unexpected layering and streetwear-inspired pieces, designer Hiromichi Ochiai showed just why he was shortlisted for the LVMH Prize in 2016. FACETASM’s latest collection features a bright red, yellow, and green-based color palette, along with the brand’s usual collage tailoring practices, intersected with the subtle usage of stars and stripes. FACETASM’s 2017 spring/summer collection will be available at stockists from January 27 onward.
