ASICS Unveils Its Limited-Edition 2017 Spring/Summer "JYUNI" Collection

Though ASICS’s most noteworthy drops tend to be on the footwear side of things, the sporting goods giant is offering up a limited-edition range of sportswear this season as a nod to both Japanese heritage and minimalist design principles. Dubbed “JYUNI” (meaning “twelve” and representing the passing of time), the capsule is intended to encourage runners to transcend the constraints of time and features a trio of unisex pieces: a hooded jacket, short-sleeved top and knit trousers. While the jacket boasts a combination of mesh and water-repelling nylon, the top comes in a stretchy shape-retaining synthetic to coincide with the lightweight warmth offered by the French Terry pants. Finished with subtle glow-in-the-dark branding and red hits to the zipper pulls, the entire collection is executed in stark white to further emphasize its minimalist leanings.

Retailing from $105 to $270 USD, the three-piece collection is set to launch in Japan on January 27 before making its way to select ASICS stockists worldwide on February 10.
