China Just Unveiled a Sleek DSLR-Rivaling Camera That's Incredibly Low in Cost
Xiaoyi’s mirrorless M1 comes packed with features but won’t break the bank.

Expected to be a success as the thriftier end of the camera market, the Xiaoyi M1 is a sleek mirrorless camera that boasts a performance that punches above its price tag (from $330 USD). With a form that more than slightly resembles Leica‘s modern releases, it’s a sufficiently sophisticated piece of kit that allows you to shoot the equivalent to 50-megapixel photos and capture 4K video at 30 frames per second on its advanced micro four-thirds sensor. Plus a touchscreen, Bluetooth, and WiFi functions means navigating and sharing your output is as easy as working a smartphone. Could the M1 truly be the mirrorless camera’s biggest step towards killing DSLRs?
The camera will be available through China’s JD.com on September 23 although there’s no mention of an international release yet. For more information, hit up the official portal page.
