The New Sony A99 II Is a Full-Frame Monster
Capable of shooting twelve 42-megapixel photos per second.

Knocking on the doors of Canon’s professional cameras for sports photographers is the newly unveiled Sony A99 II. This interchangeable lens shooter boasts a full-frame 42.94-megapixel sensor, an updated autofocus system with hybrid phase detection, 5-axis image stabilization, as well as 4K video recording with full pixel readout, as per The Verge. The device is only compatible with a-mount lenses and has an extraordinary ISO range spanning 50 to 102,400. Despite the lack of a low pass filter, Sony still guarantees that this beast will reward photographers with exceptional image quality.
The Sony A99 II is expected to release sometime this November for $3,200 USD.
