HP Wrapped a PC in a Bang & Olufsen Speaker
HP introduces the Pavilion Wave.
Sleek, cylindrical computers are nothing new — just see Apple’s powerful Mac Pro for proof. One thing the Mac Pro doesn’t have, however, is an awesome integrated speaker, so HP is attempting to fill that void with its latest PC: the Pavilion Wave. Wrapped in a specially designed B&O Play speaker from Bang & Olufsen, the collaborative endeavor doesn’t sacrifice specs for looks and sound: packed inside is a sixth-generation processor from Intel, a solid-state hard drive, 16GB of RAM, and even an optional AMD R9 470M graphics card that allows for output to a 4K monitor or two separate displays. Best of all? The whole package starts at just $550 USD.
The desktop powerhouse is due out sometime in the months ahead and those interested can register for updates on availability now over at HP’s dedicated web portal.
