Heron Preston‘s sustainable renderings of the The New York City Department of Sanitation’s work attires earned him much praise from around the industry following its debut at New York Fashion Week. A part of the Big Apple’s 0×30 initiative to send zero waste to landfills by 2030, the creative venture features vintage clothing and donated DSNY uniforms, repurposed into a fashion-forward aesthetic using camouflage and bold branding.
