Miley Cyrus Can't Stand Woody Allen in 'Crisis in Six Scenes' Official Trailer
“I don’t dislike you… just everything that you stand for.”
This past August, Amazon premiered a sneak peek for Woody Allen’s forthcoming television series Crisis in Six Scenes. The electronic commerce giant just released the show’s official trailer, offering a better look at the cast of characters during the tumultuous era of the 1960s. The two-minute clip doesn’t abstain from self-deprecating humor: “I’ve been working on an idea for a television series now,” Allen says to his barber. “Oh I see, the usual dysfunctional family with the wise-crackin’ wife and kids and much-harassed husband kind of thing?” the barber asks. Allen is then pretty much speechless.
As a whole, the series follows Allen and Elaine May who struggle to keep their suburban family sane while in the midst of a surprise visitor, Miley Cyrus who plays a rebellious hippie character. In the video, Cyrus furiously professes to Allen: “I don’t dislike you… just everything that you stand for.”
There will be a total of six episodes for the exclusive series and it will allegedly be released on the streaming service this September 30.
