Tyler, The Creator is getting his own show on VICELAND. The creative looks to fill the void left open by his Adult Swim series Loiter Squad by taking his Golf Media app series to the big leagues. Like the app, the show will be produced by Whalrock Industries, who also helms the lucrative range of Kardashian-branded apps. While no additional information has been provided, the show will definitely be entertaining. This news comes at VICELAND’s six-month mark, and according to Co-President Eddy Moretti, “Just six months in and VICELAND is right on track. We gave birth to a completely new brand — a unique voice with 100 percent Vice-produced content, that is attracting a young, smart, affluent audience. And today, more people are watching Vice-produced content on every possible screen than ever before. That’s insane, and insanely wonderful. Plus, we got two Emmy nominations out of the gate. It’s a sign that in just these first six months, VICELAND is already a cultural player on the televisual dial. We couldn’t be more proud.”
