Watch Skrillex and Wiwek's Debut Short Film 'Still in the Cage'

Skrillex and Wiwek’s debut short film Still in the Cage premiered at the Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles earlier in the week with over 3,000 people in attendance. Now fortunately for us the film has been made available to stream in full on the OWSLA YouTube channel. Centered around a Thai woman who runs away from her troubled life in Bangkok, the 18-minute film runs with a soundtrack by Wiwek’s The Free and Rebellious EP. A Q&A party was held afterwards where Skrillex acknowledges the film’s metaphor of each individual’s search for freedom stating, “No matter where you are, you can’t escape yourself until you face yourself.” Watch the full film above.
