Saburo Hamanaka of peace-promoting brand roar and potter Shiro Hamanka bring their brotherly bond to a set of fourteen different mugs. Made entirely by hand, the rare pieces are rendered in a variety of different textures, ranging from more glossy and metallic finishes to leather-incorporated mugs conveying a more ashen look. Each mug features roar signature branding– two crossed pistols that invert the violent symbolism to communicate peace, while also blending Western sensibilities with Japanese craftsmanship. The mugs are exclusively available at The Black Sense Market for ¥19,440 JPY (approximately $193 USD) each.
