USA Network Renews 'Mr. Robot' for a Third Season
The famed psychological thriller gets a junior year.

USA Network recently revealed that it is slated to develop a third season for the widely-acclaimed drama series, Mr. Robot. The show is currently halfway through its second season with cyber security engineer and protagonist Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek) coping with his mental issues, as well as fsociety’s attack on Evil Corp. “We couldn’t be more proud of Mr. Robot, a series that has pushed boundaries, captured the cultural zeitgeist, and been honored as one of the best dramas on television,” said Chris McCumber of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. “Midway through its second season, ‘Mr. Robot‘ continues to break new ground and open up new opportunities for the network. We can’t wait to see where Sam Esmail and the entire brilliant Robot team will take us next.”
