After persistent rumors of “top secret rehearsals,” Beyoncé was confirmed as a performer at the 2016 MTV VMAs just hours before proceedings kicked off. As expected, Bey pulled off a stellar medley of recent hits, kicking off with Lemonade track “Pray You Catch Me” before launching into “Hold Up,” quick flashes of “Countdown,” “Sorry,” “Don’t Hurt Yourself,” and closing with “Formation.” Watch the performance above.
