'Thrasher' Celebrates 35th Anniversary With BEAUTY & YOUTH Exclusives
Premium renditions of the magazine’s merchandise.
Founded in 1981 by Kevin Thatcher, Eric Swenson and Fausto Vitello, Thrasher has gone on to establish itself as the foremost authority on skateboarding. In addition to hosting its own King of the Road contests and Skate of the Year awards, the publication’s merchandise has had the most success in bringing awareness to the Thrasher name, particularly amongst fashion circles and those outside of skateboarding. BEAUTY & YOUTH is the latest imprint to release a collaborative range of apparel with the magazine, printing the iconic logo across a selection of cut-and-sew pieces to help celebrate the publication’s 35th anniversary. Comprised of boxy tees and hoodies, you can purchase the collaborative items at BEAUTY & YOUTH retailers across Japan and select UNITED ARROWS stores as well starting July 10. Prices range between ¥5,940 JPY (approximately $59 USD) and ¥8,100 JPY (approximately $80 USD).
