'Sherlock' Season 4 Trailer at Comic-Con Proves to Be Most Intense Yet

During the Sherlock panel at Comic-Con, attendees were given a first look at the upcoming fourth season of the British mystery TV series. The trailer starts off ominously as Sherlock Holmes, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, states that “something’s coming…” With more car chases and explosions, the season proves to be more action-packed and intense than the previous ones. Cumberbatch and co-star Amanda Abbington mentioned during the event that the season is also the darkest one yet as showrunners incorporated a bevy of emotional rollercoasters, and the trailer quotes that “everything they know will be tested.” The new episodes will be shown on PBS starting in 2017.
