Offspring Taps the ASICS GEL-Lyte V for Another 20th Anniversary Release
Offspring follows up March’s special release with yet another GEL-Lyte V.
Back in March, UK-based Offspring kicked off its 20th anniversary celebration with a special take on the GEL-Lyte V — a nod to the piazza and cobblestone streets at the original store’s locale and a successor of sorts to the shop’s coveted “Desert” ASICS collab from 2014. Now the two are back at it, joining forces on — you guessed it — yet another GEL-Lyte V. This time around the co-branded endeavor once again echoes the cobblestone streets and off-white stone pavers of the market stalls at Covent Garden, opting for a various shades of grey to stand in contrast to the beige-dominated upper of the original 20th anniversary pair. Minty green accents also offer up a playful take on the teal that lined the last release — itself an homage to Offspring’s original branding hue from 1996.
ASICS and Offspring fans alike can find the latest GEL-Lyte V from the two in-store and online later this month.
