UNDERCOVER & Beats by Dre Come Together for Limited Edition Earphones
“We Make Noise Not Clothes.”
With a shared interest in running, music, style and function, Beats by Dre and UNDERCOVER have joined forces for a rare collaboration on the Powerbeats2 Wireless earphones. The earphones and matching case showcase an all-over geometric pattern in grey-blue against a beige backdrop, with orange details for contrast. The color scheme is inspired by designer Jun Takahashi’s experiences while running — simultaneous feelings of calmness and adrenaline. With this collaboration, the two are hoping to bring to life UNDERCOVER’s brand motto “We Make Noise Not Clothes.” Come mid-July, the limited release will be available at Apple, Lane Crawford and SILLYTHING in Hong Kong, as well as online via Apple and Beats by Dr. Dre for $2,198 HKD (approximately $283 USD).
