Well, it’s about time the developers over at Facebook fabricated a slideshow feature. So go on and delete those third-party slideshow apps on your phone because this shipshape update is the zenith for creating themed clips in the networking service. Instead of uploading a plethora of photos and videos of your last weekend getaway, save the exhaustion for both you and your friends by using this simple feature. All one needs to do is string together five pieces of media captured in the past 24 hours and these social media savants will create a sweet animated video with the theme of your choosing. As of now, there are 10 varying themes to choose from, as well as background music and overlays: “Inspired,” “Nostalgic,” “Amped,” “Playful,” “Night Out,” “Birthday,” “Epic,” “Thankful,” “Tropical” and “Bollywood.”
Facebook allegedly stated that it will include more themes over time. The slideshow feature will be launched all across the globe sometime this week. However, you need to be an iOS user to actually use the feature. Watch the video above to see it all in action.
