In honor of GameCube’s best-selling video game, 30 animators have come together to create a special animated tribute to Super Smash Bros. Melee. An ambitious project that was put together by The Reanimation Station over the past year, the animation recreates the intro of the legendary crossover fighting game where players battle with multiverse characters like Link, Zelda/Sheik, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Ice Climbers, Fox, Falco, Ness, Samus, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Mario, Dr. Mario and more. Not affiliated with Nintendo or HAL in any way, check out the fan-made project Super Smash Bros. Melee Reanimated above. Find the original intro from 2001 below for comparison.
