NEIGHBORHOOD Pays Homage to Steve McQueen & 'Le Mans'
An Americana nod to an American icon.
With a penchant for classic Americana, it’s no surprise that Shinsuke Takizawa and NEIGHBORHOOD would pay homage to American icons throughout their collections. And that’s exactly what we have with their latest capsule collection as the Japanese designer and his renowned imprint have followed up a Spring/Summer 2016 nod to Elvis Presley with an homage to Steve McQueen and the actor’s cult favorite Le Mans. Featuring a couple of different black and white stills from the flick (which is known for its race-heavy action and lack of dialogue), the drop comes in the form of two different graphic tees, each decorated with co-branding throughout.
NEIGHBORHOOD’s tribute to the Lee H. Katzin-directed 1971 classic is available now from select dealers while supplies last.
