Nike Gives the Cortez a Breezy Summer Makeover
The Swoosh introduces the Cortez Ultra Breeze.
The tried-and-true Cortez was already a near perfect summer sneaker, but Nike has one-upped things a bit with a brand new take on the retro runner that’s perfect for the warmer months ahead. Dubbed the Cortez Ultra Breathe, the new design retains the clean look of the original, but ditches the usual nylon or leather upper in favor of breathable mesh and synthetic overlays as the Swoosh’s Ultra construction takes care of the sole unit.
Debuting in “Pure Platinum,” black, and “Racer Blue” colorways, the breezy new Cortez is available now from NSW spots like Tokyo-based Kinetics.
