A.P.C. Sets up Shop in San Francisco
The French label opens its third American location.

Outside of New York and Los Angeles, A.P.C. has recently established an outpost in its third American location in San Francisco. Located in the Jackson Square neighborhood which is home to many design and architecture studios, founder Jean Touitou enlisted the help of Laurent Deroo Architecte to transform the space into a spartan showcase for his equally minimalist designs. To counteract the long and narrow layout of the interior, the firm chose to incorporate alcoves made from fleece-coated zinc plates to exhibit different aspects of the current collection, while diagonal overhead lights and oak plank flooring also help to lesson the corridor effect. Stocking the main label’s men’s and women’s collections, the store will also the Vanessa Seward collection, the A.P.C. Outdoor Voices collaboration, and a Louis W. capsule.
