Ben Affleck Plays a Cold-Blooded Killer in 'The Accountant'

Fresh off the widely-panned blockbuster that was Batman v Superman, Ben Affleck brings his trademark stony facial expressions to upcoming action film The Accountant. Here, Affleck is Christian Wolff, a math savant whose cover at a small-town CPA office acts as a front for his freelance accounting jobs for the world’s most notorious criminal organizations. However, with the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division closing in, Wolff locks down his first legitimate job for a cutting-edge robotics company, but when he uncovers a discrepancy involving millions of dollars, his own life becomes embroiled in the ensuing violence. Also starring J.K. Simmons and Anna Kendrick, The Accountant is set to open in theaters on October 14.
